Grades
Each question in your report, which you will post to the site, will be worth four points each for a total of eighty points.
The report will be worth twenty points.
The entire project will be worth one hundred points.

Abstract
In this section you need to answer the following questions in a single paragraph:
1. What demographic variable, economic variable, and ecological variable did your group study?
2. Why did you study these variables?
3. What method(s) and tools did you use to do your research?
4. What was your hypothesis and did your research support it?

Hypothesis
1. In one or two sentences explain what your demographic and ecological variables are and what relationship you think exists between the two.

Procedure
In this section you need to answer the following questions in paragraph form:
1. What technological and mathematical tools did you use for this project?
2. Did you search for your demographic and ecological variable before creating your hypothesis or after?
3. How did you find your demographic and ecological variable?
4. When in your research did you find or decide to use your ecological variable?

Background
Using a paragraph to explain each of the three variables you're studying:
1. What does your variable measure?
2. What is this variable used to measure in other people's research?
3. Why did you choose your specific demographic, ecological, and ecological variables?

Analysis
Collect your data from at least twenty-five different countries. In this section you will be creating paragraphs and charts.
1. What type of relationship do you see between your demographic and your ecological variable? Include your labeled chart.
Remember, you can use any of the functions listed in Microsoft Excel, but the best fit function will have the r-squared value closest to one.
2. What type of relationship did you see between your demographic and your economic variable? Include your labeled chart.
3. What type of relationship did you see between your economic variable and your ecological variable? Include your labeled chart.
4. Given the relationship between your demographic and economic variable, and your economic variable and your ecological variable, what could we predict about the relationship between the demographic and ecological variable?
5. Do the relationships you observe support or not support your hypothesis?

Conclusion
1. Did your research support your hypothesis or not?
2. What were some of your limitations in your research (At least three)?
3. What would be a new variable to study to further support or refute your hypothesis?

Presentation
Your group will give a ten minute presentation of your work. There will be a five minute period for questioning.

Works Cited
One of the most important aspects of crafting a fine lab like this is providing all the resources where you obtained the information in order to show us you were not ripping anyone else's work off. To show this, you will create a works cited page with correct MLA Citations in alphabetical order and attach to the end of the benchmark, don't worry some of your peers might have used the same resources, so ask around to obtain the correct citations. A good source for generating MLA citations is: http://www.easybib.com/
